| BUS TRIPS If you've missed the previous announcements - the Icers Booster Club is planning bus trips to Illinois, Michigan-Dearborn & Ohio if there is enough interest. 2005 World University Games The next World University Games will be in January 7-23, 2005 and they will be held in Innsbruck, Austria. Icers key players Kevin Jaeger, Eric Harbaugh, and Joe Maglaque will be on Team USA at the games. They will miss the games versus Ohio University (away), University of Rhode Island (home), and the 2005 Nittany Lion Invitational Tournament. Team USA is composed of players from teams in the ACHA and will start out in Pool A with Austria, Finland, Italy, Korea, and Slovakia. | 2005 ALUMNI WEEKEND If you are a booster and would like to attend the Alumni Banquet, you can download the registration form at http://www.icersboosterclub.org/2005alumni.pdf . You have until January 10 2005 to get your form in to the Hockey Office. The 2005 Alumni Weekend
will be on February 4 and 5, 2005. The 2005 inductees to the Icers Hall
of Fame will be former Icers John Surma (class of 76), John Grainda
(class of81) and our current Head Coach Joe Battista (Class of 82).
On that weekend the Icers will be facing long-time rival Delaware and
will be recognizing the 25th anniversary of the 1980 MACHC Championship
team during the 2nd period intermission in the Saturday game. |

| WEB BROADCASTS If you can't make it to a home or away Icers game, you can listen to it on the web. All Icers games are web broadcast on the Playbook site http://www.psuplaybook.org. Look for the Icer Webcast Center link on the web page and select the Icers Hockey Live during the game to listen to the game. All games are announced by Steve Penstone and John Mulhern and you will need WinAmp to listen to the games. |
