If you've missed the previous announcements - the Icers Booster Club is planning bus trips to Illinois, Michigan-Dearborn & Ohio if there is enough interest. People can either sign up at home games or contact Pete Bittner at 814-234-0282 or email Maxine Schollenberger at mis1@psu.edu .

The 2005 Alumni Weekend will be on February 4 and 5, 2005. The 2005 inductees to the Icers Hall of Fame will be former Icers John Surma (class of ’76), John Grainda (class of‘81) and our current Head Coach Joe Battista (Class of ’82). On that weekend the Icers will be facing long-time rival Delaware and will be recognizing the 25th anniversary of the 1980 MACHC Championship team during the 2nd period intermission in the Saturday game.

The reception and luncheon will be at the Nittany Lion Inn on Saturday, beginning at 11:30 a.m., and will include the Icers Hall of Fame Induction. The game with Delaware will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the annual alumni game immediately following approximately around 6pm.

If you need to get hotel rooms:
(1) Hampton Inn has rooms set aside for our guests (please call 1-800-HAMPTON). They will hold rooms at $74 per night until 1/15/04. Mention the group code “IH7” when making your reservation. Hampton Inn continues to be a major sponsor of the Icers Hockey program, and we are grateful for their continuing support. (2) The Nittany Lion Inn, which is the site of our luncheon, is also holding rooms at the rate of $89 per night until 1/04/05. For reservations,

Please note the luncheon fee is $17.00 per person and payment must be included with your reservation. On the weekend of the luncheon (February 4 and 5), luncheon reservations will cost $20.00 per person. For children under 12 the luncheon will cost $8.00 per child. Any child under 3 is free.

The cost for participating in the alumni game is $35.00. The fee is waived if you already paid your 2004/2005 membership dues or if you return a Booster Club Membership form and fee with your reservation.

To obtain game tickets in advance please call the Ice Hockey Office at (814) 863-2037. Tickets can only be purchased by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Former players receive one complimentary ticket to Saturday’s game only.

To note again - Please complete the enclosed Alumni Luncheon order form and return them no later than January 10.

New Icers Merchandise!

We have a number of new items in including new children's clothing, new ties, new T-shirts, and new mock turtleneck shirts. A new recent hot item is the new "Got Seven" T-shirt, which shows the 7 years the Icers have won the ACHA Division I Championship.

The merchandise page has been updated this month (December 2004) and there is also a catalog you can download as a PDF file. The merchandise page is at merchandise.htm and the catalog is at http://icersboosterclub.org/catalog.pdf.

Any questions on ordering merchandise can be emailed to merchandise@icersboosterclub.org. Merchandise can be ordered thru the mail or in person at the booster club table during Icers home games.
