General Information

The event is Saturday, August 9th with a start time of 11:00 am
at the Penn State White course.

Upon completion of the golf round we will move to the Days Inn downtown for a
social mixer between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. At the social mixer there will be heavy
hors d’oeuvres along with a full bar. Golf prizes will be given away at the social along
with our kicker raffle which will include only 4-6 prizes this year. Past prizes have
included items like a full set of Calloway golf clubs, a Sidney Crosby autographed
jersey, a TV, etc.

Note this is NOT move in weekend – Plenty of hotel space! Discounted rate on rooms
at the Days Inn under the code “PSU ICERS” and their phone number is 814-238-8454.

Are you interested in being a sponsor? There are five sponsorship levels and prize donations are also needed.

There are five levels of monetary sponsorship:

Main Tournament Sponsor ($5,000) – 8 Golfers, Hole Sign, Banner at Reception Area, AND a Full Season
Icer Sponsorship which includes: Full-Page Ad in 2008-2009 Icer Season Game Program, special name recognition at
a home game, passes into Booster room at all Icer home games, season tickets, schedule card, co-op advertising,
schedule poster, banner at Ice Rink
Gold Sponsor ($2,000) – 4 golfers, Full-Page Ad in 2008-2009 Icer Season Game Program, hole sign, banner at
tent, pass into Booster room at all Icer home games, PA announcement at one Icer home game
Silver Sponsor ($1,500) – 4 golfers, ½ page ad in 2008-2009 Icer Season Game Program, hole sign, pass into
Booster room at all Icer home games
Bronze Sponsor ($500) – season program mention, hole sign, pass into Booster room at all Icer home games
Hole Sponsor ($250) - on-course sign recognizing sponsorship

Any commitments for one of these five sponsorship levels has to be in to
the Hockey Office by July 15th.

Prize donations (merchandise sponsorship) are also welcome. Any prizes can be sent
to the Hockey Office by July 30th.
