WHY BE A BOOSTER?

You may already be aware, we are the official Booster Club for the Icers men's ice hockey team at Penn State.

What you may not be aware of is why the Booster Club exists. Since the Icers are a team sport, the Icers do not receive all of the financial support from Penn State that they need. That is where the Booster Club steps in.

A Booster Club membership will help pay for many things essential to the success of
the Icers such as equipment and uniforms, team travel expenses to regional and
national competitions, as well as additional support like tutors and assistant coaches.

The Icers have enjoyed continued success both on the ice and in the classroom as
well. A Booster Club membership will continue the support and assist in the future success of the Icers.

A Booster Club membership includes membership cards, newsletters, invites to events, and access to the Booster Room at Icers home games.

Memberships Available

Individual - Entitles all membership privileges to the member. ($50 / year)

Family - Entitles all membership privileges to the family members - parents and
children under 18 years old. ($125 / year)

Goalie - Entitles membership card holder to all benefits of membership
plus $15 merchandise gift certificate. ($150 / year)

Defenseman - Entitles membership card holder to all benefits of membership
plus $25 merchandise gift certificate. ($250 / year)

Team Captain - Entitles membership card holder to all benefits of membership
plus $30 merchandise gift certificate. ($400 / year)

Honorary Coach - Entitles membership card holder to all benefits of membership
plus $50 merchandise gift certificate. ($550 / year)
