FINAL SCORE ILLINOIS 4 PENN STATE 3.
In the 3rd period there was an Icers goal, then 2 more Illinois goals after
that, then an Icers goal, then an Illinois goal, then one more Icers goal. Illinois
had a unassisted powerplay goal about nine minutes into the 1st period. Paul
Mammola was in goal for the Icers.

The Consolation Game final score was Rhode Island 1 Ohio 3. Ohio had their second
and third place goals in the last two minutes of the game.
Day 3 Games (3/5/2005)
Penn State Icers 3 Ohio 1
Penn State had three goals in the second and third periods to make it a 3-1
win. The get ahead goal and the third goal were within the last two minutes
of the game.
The Icers face Illinois in the Championship Game!
Ohio had the first goal of the same 15:02 into the first period. There were
no further goals until Mike McMullen's goal at 18:05 into the second period.
The assists on that goal with Luc Walker and Eric Harbaugh.
Deep into the the third period Dave Arcabello had the get ahead goal with only
1:15 left in the game and McMullen had the assist.
Kevin Jaeger then had a unassisted empty net goal with 7 seconds left in the
game to make it a 3-1 win.
Other game results....
Rhode Island will face Ohio in the Consolation Game.
For the 10am CT game today (for 5th Place) the result was Lindenwood 10 - Michgan
Dearborn 3.
The 1pm CT game ended with Rhode Island 3 Illinois 5.
The 7pm CT game (for 7th Place) was Robert Morris 5 Weber State 4.
Day 2 Games (3/4/2005)
Penn State Icers 6 Robert Morris 2
Penn State took the lead at the beginning with Mike Carrano's first goal (of
his hat trick) with only 35 seconds into the game. The assists were by Chris
Rome and Paul Zodtner. The next goal was about thirteen minutes later again
by Carrano with assists by Mathew Wallace and Eric Harbaugh.
With less than 4 minutes left into the second period Brett Wilson netted the
next Icers goal with assists by Dave Arcobello and Garret Divins. That was followed
about 10 minutes later with Carrano's hat trick goal with an assist by Kevin
Jaeger. Kevin had the assist again on the next Icers goal a couple minutes later
by Clint Highley.
Robert Morris did not get a goal until 35 seconds into the third period and
had their second goal about seven minutes later.
However, with less than two minutes left in the game Greg Windsor put in the
final Icers goal of the game with an assist by Paul Zodtner.
So that was five Icers goals, followed by two Robert Morris goals, and one more
Icer goal to make the final score Penn State 6 Robert Morris 2.
The final shots on goal was PSU 47 - RMC 24.

In the first period there was no score.
At the start of the second period (20 seconds in) Kevin Jaeger netted the first
Icers goal. Additional goals were scored
in the 3rd period by Garrett Divins,
Dave Arcobello, and Keith Jordan. Chris Matteo was in goal and had another
shutout with this game. Mark Switaj assisted
on the Divins goal, and Keith's
goal was on an empty net. The Icers face the Robert Morris/Arizona State game
winner Friday 3/4 at 7pm Central Time.
